How to download your BGE bill

To enroll you in community solar, we need a copy of your most recent BGE bill as a PDF. The good news: BGE keeps a PDF of every bill in your online account, and downloading one takes about five minutes. This guide walks you through it click by click.

If you don't have an online account yet: your 10-digit BGE account number from any paper bill, so you can register

The steps

Go to the BGE sign-in page
Use the button below to open BGE's sign-in page in a new tab. You can also get there by visiting bge.com and clicking the "Sign In" button at the top of the page.
Don't have an online account yet? Click "Register Now" on the sign-in page. You'll need your 10-digit BGE account number, which is printed at the top of any paper bill.

Sign in to your account
Enter the email address associated with your account in the "Email" field and your password in the "Password" field, then click Continue.
- Forgot which email you used? Click "Forgot email?" under the email field.
- Forgot your password? Click "Forgot password?" and BGE will walk you through resetting it.

Open your billing history
Once you're signed in, you'll land on your account dashboard. In the menu, choose "Billing", then "Bill & Payment History". On a phone, tap the menu icon (☰) first to see these options.

Open your most recent bill
Your bills are listed by date, newest first. Find the most recent one and click "View Bill". The bill opens as a PDF, usually in a new browser tab.
If nothing opens, your browser may have blocked the pop-up. Look for a pop-up blocked icon in the address bar and allow pop-ups from bge.com, then try again.

Download the PDF
With the bill open, click the download icon (usually an arrow pointing down, near the top of the PDF viewer) and save the file somewhere you can find it again — your Downloads folder is perfect. On a phone, use the share/save option to save it to your Files app.
We need the actual PDF with every page included. Photos or screenshots of your bill won't work with our automatic reader.

Upload it to SolarGator
You're done with BGE! Head back to SolarGator and upload the PDF you just saved. We'll automatically read your account details from the bill — no typing required.

Frequently Asked Questions

I don't have a BGE online account

Registering is free and takes a couple of minutes. You'll need your 10-digit BGE account number from any paper bill, plus your phone number or the last four digits of your SSN to verify your identity.

I can't remember my email or password

On the sign-in page, use "Forgot email" to look up which email your account uses, or "Forgot password" to reset your password. BGE will send a reset link to your email on file.

Go to the BGE sign-in page

The bill opened but I can't find a download button

Every browser can save an open PDF: press Ctrl+S on Windows or Cmd+S on a Mac. You can also use Print and choose “Save as PDF” as the printer.

I only have a paper bill

You can turn it into a PDF with your phone: on iPhone, open the Notes app, tap the camera icon, and choose Scan Documents; on Android, the Google Drive app has a Scan button. Make sure you scan every page of the bill into a single PDF.
